Every Sunday or so, my friends and I gather to watch a movie of one of ours choosing, usually picked well in advance. We've been doing it for almost a year now. There's approx. 7 people who attend, a movie per person, so after 7 films are watched, that grouping of films gets grouped into a "season".
The season we're on now is themetaic, the theme being our dad's pick a film. Obligatory dad entry number 1 is Casablanca. Outside of that, the season is still too fresh to see the more "common" picks. Expect to see 2 or more WW2 films.
Dad season has concluded with Hulk, individual picks are now back on the menu.
The 1 year anniversery is coming up, so the movie closest to that has an additional teal border around it. The honors go to Strange Days (1995).
